Some of the interesting topics pertain to the study of models for modern rural economies; The optimisation of processes and policies in rural areas; The improvement of agricultural productivity through the effective use of biodiversity.

The management of water resources in agricultural areas in the EU and China. The integrated approach to the management of land as a resource. Proposals for Horizon 2020 should involve universities, enterprises, public institutions, NGOs, stakeholders, all of the EU countries and candidate countries as Albania, Turkey, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia.
